September 28 - Native Spanish Speaker Quiz Bowl October 1 -15 - West Des Moines Community Schools celebrates Hispanic Heritage month. October 28 - Students from all elementary school will do Day of the Dead presentations at the Des Moines Art Center's Day of the Dead celebration.
Every Tuesday Nutritional Services will provide a meal from a Latin American country.
